😂 “You have to arrest my parents!” said a little boy as he entered the police station, and the reason he gave made the officers burst out laughing.
One calm afternoon, the officers were working quietly behind their desks. Suddenly, the door opened slowly. A little boy entered alone.
He looked about four or five years old. The officers exchanged surprised glances. The child walked slowly but with a very serious expression, as if he had something very important to say.
A policewoman approached him and knelt down to his level. She asked, “Are you lost?”
The boy shook his head and replied in a determined voice, “No. I came to tell you something.”
The policewoman smiled slightly and said, “Alright, I’m listening carefully.”
The little boy took a deep breath and declared, “You have to arrest my parents.”
“Why should we arrest your parents?” asked the policewoman.
He crossed his arms and replied very seriously, “Because they did something really bad.”
There was a brief silence in the room, then the policewoman asked, “Can you tell us exactly what they did?”
At that moment, the little boy gave a reason that made all the officers burst out laughing.

“My parents won’t let me get married.”
The officers looked at each other, trying to hide their smiles, but one of them burst out laughing.
“But why won’t they let you?” one of them asked.
“Because they say I’m too little and I should grow up first,” he replied angrily.
The officers, unable to stop laughing, gently explained to the boy that he still had plenty of time before getting married.
As he left the police station, the little boy, slightly upset, promised that he would come back when he was older and ready to get married.
