When my husband’s grandmother sold her house and moved in with my mother-in-law, she kept a few belongings.
One day, I visited her, and I noticed a nightstand that caught my eye.
I asked her to give it to me, and I decided to renovate it completely.
It was in very poor condition.
The paint was damaged, and the legs of the piece were no longer stable.
Still, I had a very good idea for its renovation.
I removed the coating.
It was a laborious task, but I was motivated by the idea of the final result, and the work became more enjoyable.
For the new look, I chose a pastel paint that offered a modern touch while preserving its old-world charm.
I replaced the handles with retro models and installed modern legs to improve its stability.
