Indian businessman Savji Dholakia gifted 401 apartments and 1,265 cars to the employees of his diamond company, Hare Krishna Exports.
This incentive, coinciding with the Indian festival of Diwali, cost more than 7 million US dollars.
Since 2011, Dholakia has been giving big gifts to the top-performing employees of his company every year.
However, the scale was somewhat more modest on the previous occasion, with 491 cars and 200 apartments.
It should be noted that the apartments, each measuring 100 square meters, were purchased in installments.
According to Indian media, employees are required to contribute a portion of the price from their salaries, but the majority of the payments are covered by the employer.
All of this is part of a campaign to provide Hare Krishna Exports employees with their own car and apartment.
Those who already have a place to live receive a car as a gift, and vice versa.
