When I was a child, my mom bought this small table that she loved 🪑. She used it all the time, and it stayed in the house for years 💖. Recently, I had the idea to give it a makeover to give it a new life.
It was a surprise for my mom 🎁, so I took advantage of the time she was at my aunt’s house to get to work. When she came back and saw the result, she couldn’t believe it was the same table 😲.

I got the idea for the makeover after watching a documentary.
First, I sanded the table to remove scratches and varnish marks.
It took me an hour, but the table started looking great again.
Then I started modifying the structure.
I cut a MDF panel into squares and painted them white with blue and gray patterns.
Once the paint dried, I assembled the pieces and then applied varnish to protect it all.
The table got a modern look, and the result was pretty nice.
When my mom came back and saw the table, she thought I had bought a new table similar to hers.
She couldn’t believe it was the same one.
After closely examining it, she finally realized it was her table, and she was thrilled with its new version.
