I’ve never been a fan of dating apps. I’ve always felt like it was impossible to find a serious man on there, and that people were just looking for a fling, without truly trying to build something lasting.
Recently, a friend convinced me to sign up for an app, asking me to at least give it a try once. The next day, a man named Alex contacted me. He seemed nice, and we started talking. After a few days, he suggested we meet at a restaurant.
I wanted to make a good impression, so I made sure to look my best. Alex, on the other hand, showed up in a black suit, classy and well-groomed. Everything was going fine: he seemed charming, funny, and attentive. We talked about everything and nothing, and I felt like I had found a pretty normal guy.
Then, he suggested we dance, and that’s when the waitress came over. She accidentally spilled a glass of water on him and apologized a thousand times. Alex, relaxed, told her it was no big deal, and then went to the bathroom.
