Sasha, a young Briton aged seventeen, has been a mother for nearly three years. Since the birth of their son Leo, Sasha and her friend Neo didn’t know where to live and were looking for a place to stay.
Fortunately, there are still kind-hearted people who lend a helping hand to those in need.
Barbara Godfrey, who owns Captain’s Quarters and Andorra, a guest house based in the small British town of Southport, experienced this firsthand. This lady was already housing people who didn’t have a place to stay.
The generous lady welcomed Sasha and her young family, providing them with shelter in one of her rooms.
The young couple were extremely grateful to Mrs. Godfrey for opening the doors of her hospitable home to them.
“We found out I was expecting a child, and we found ourselves in a difficult position. Fortunately, we had Barbara, an amazing woman, by our side. She helped us during such a delicate time,” the young mother told the English press (Liverpool Echo).
The guest house owner offered Sasha and her child unwavering assistance. They found themselves safe and were very lucky to be hosted by Barbara.
The young mother explained that she and her partner were not receiving any assistance and were relying on a food bank.
However, with Barbara’s help, who housed several people in her home and provided them with food, Sasha and her partner were able to cope with all these challenges.
