One ordinary morning, I had just arrived at the police station when, suddenly, a little girl around 7 years old entered, trembling, holding a paper bag.
“Sir, can you help me?” she said.
“Yes, of course, sweetheart. What’s going on?” I replied, standing up and walking over to her.
“My little brother, he’s not moving. Please help him.” I was stunned to see a newborn wrapped in towels in her paper bag.
I immediately called for help.
“You know, I tried to warm him up, and I gave him some water,” the little girl whispered.
“Will he get better, sir? Can you help him?” she asked, worried.
