Every week, I visit my father’s grave. For some time, I had noticed an elderly blind woman, always accompanied by a young man, who also came to visit the cemetery. However, one day, I saw that she was alone. She seemed to have trouble getting around, and thatâs when I had the idea to help her.
I approached her, spoke softly to announce my presence, and she responded with a grateful smile. After a short conversation, I offered to walk her home.
When we reached her house, she invited me in, thanking me for my help and offering me a cup of tea. I wasnât very comfortable, but out of politeness, I accepted. I quickly drank my tea and left.
The next morning, as I was just getting up, I heard police sirens. Curious, I rushed to the window and saw a police car parked in front of my house. I had no idea what was going on.
A police officer came to knock on my door and informed me that the elderly woman had accused me of stealing money from her during my visit.
