I found this old armchair on the street 🛋️, and I couldn’t resist picking it up. It was in poor condition, but I immediately had a clear idea of how I could renovate it 🔨.
The process didn’t take much time, and the final result matched exactly what I had envisioned from the start ✨.
I’m sharing the step-by-step process along with photos of the finished result in the article’s first comment 👇👇👇.
The armchair was really in bad shape, but I liked its shape a lot.
I started the work by removing the old upholstery.
Next, I disassembled the chair to improve its condition.
The fabric definitely needed to be replaced, but the frame was still quite solid.
I decided to choose a bright color, and the primer that came to mind was green.
I have a stool in a similar color, and I thought they would complement each other perfectly.
I lightly sanded the structure since it didn’t need renovation.
In the end, I applied a layer of protective varnish.
It found its place in the house, and when noticed, all my friends think it comes from an antique store.
