This little dresser had been lying around in my workshop for quite some time 🛠️. When my friend’s son moved into a new apartment 🏡 and needed a compact piece of furniture for the bathroom, I immediately thought this one would be perfect 👍.
So, I completely renovated it, and it fit perfectly into his new home 😊.
He really appreciated the result 😍 and is happily using it. The renovation process and photos can be found in the article in the first comment 👇👇👇.
From time to time, I transform old furniture by giving it a new life.
All my friends know about this passion of mine, and I sometimes offer them my creations.
One day, a friend asked me if I had a small piece of furniture suitable for a bathroom.
His son had just bought a new apartment and didn’t have any furniture, so he wanted to give him a gift.
I looked around my workshop and found a small piece that seemed perfect for the bathroom.
It was in poor condition, and I had to do quite a bit of work.
I replaced the top and also changed the back panel.
To fix everything together, I glued the frame and used a pneumatic nail gun to secure the pieces.
There were holes left by the nails, which I filled with a bit of wood filler.
As for the back, I replaced it with a panel that was easy to fit using staples.
I painted the piece white, and to protect it from humidity, I applied a matte acrylic varnish.
Finally, I replaced the handles with more contemporary models.
The piece of furniture got a second life, and I hope my friend’s son will really enjoy it.
