For my mother’s 60th birthday, my brother and I wanted to give her something truly special 🎁. For years, she had dreamed of renovating her kitchen, a space she cherished but that no longer met her needs 🍳. So, we decided to make her dream come true ✨. With lots of care and love ❤️, we transformed her small 6m² kitchen into a space that is both functional and cozy 🏡. The result was incredible 😍.
For my mother’s 60th birthday, my brother and I decided to give her an original gift.
She had dreamed of renovating the kitchen for a long time, so we decided to make her dream come true.
Since we had a limited budget, we did the renovation ourselves with the help of our friends.
We didn’t change the windows, but we replaced the windowsill with a large countertop.
Now, she can place plants there or use it as a table to prepare something.
As for the interior, we removed the old wallpaper, installed new tiles, and added a grating screen.
For the furniture, we chose a white color, which created a sense of space and filled the kitchen with light.
We placed the sink in the corner, so it’s close to the work area.
Since our budget was limited, we couldn’t replace the refrigerator, but we plan to replace it later.
We placed the microwave on top of the refrigerator, and I have to admit that it wasn’t a good decision, as it’s hard to reach.
Finally, we hung a small TV on the wall because my mother watches shows while preparing meals.
