In Bangladesh, there are thousands of children living in needy families.
These children are forced to work to help their parents. See the captured moments
For more than 17 years, photographer Akash has documented the harsh reality of these children through his lens.
The looks of these little ones touched the artist infinitely and he decided to help them at all costs.
Akash was looking for a way to create real change in the work of young people and fate helped make this artist’s goal come true.
It so happened that one of the artist’s photographs won the World Press Photo prize in 2006 and with the money raised he decided to change the lives of these children.
The photos captured by Akash got the necessary attention. His strategy was to create jobs for parents to get their children out of factories and farms.
He said parents need to earn enough money for their children to go to school.
The altruistic photographer has already helped create 150 businesses for 150 different families.
Additionally, the documentarian also established a school in his hometown Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
And it is especially the children who are most grateful to him.
This is how children change since they start going to school. It’s truly fantastic!
