Under the floor of an old mansion, the family unexpectedly discovered a real well. It was opened during renovations and 36-year-old Victoria insisted that her husband go downstairs with a camera and find out where the long descent led.
The couple recently purchased a cottage on the seashore in North Yorkshire. Andrew wanted to build an extension to it, but during renovations the foundation began to sag.
The family decided to remove all the floorboards in the hallway. A gap appeared right at the door, reinforced with paving stones and bricks.
It looks like there used to be an inn here. There is a beach nearby, probably even a tavern. A well with clean water should be valued by sailors, the cottage owners suggested.

As a result, they decided to leave the well right in the house. It was covered with tempered glass and received an interior element.
