Elderly laundromat owners in Taiwan have taken Instagram by storm: they pose in clothes left behind by customers.

A married couple from Taiwan, Chang Wanji and Shu Shu-ye, who are already over 80 years old, after 70 years of monotonous work in their laundry, have updated their approach to business in a very original way.

Thus, the elderly have become the protagonists of Facebook and Instagram, stylishly combining clothes forgotten or left behind by their customers for many years.

Thousands of social platform users from different parts of the world have already appreciated and cheered the young couple in their hearts.

The idea of stylish clothing came from Chang Wanji and Shu Shu-ye’s grandson, Reef Chan, who convinced his grandparents to fashionably combine old accumulated clothes, take photos and share them on social networks.

According to Reef, in this way he just wanted to cheer up his grandparents, who could often doze during the working day, waiting for customers. And each new day was no different from the previous one.

But he never expected such a positive effect on social media: “Often there is no one in the laundry, they [the grandparents] start to fall asleep at the counter, the mood is at zero.

So I thought: If we already have so many unclaimed clothes, I could remind people to take them away and show my grandparents that their life can be interesting even in old age,” Reef explained in an interview.

At first, the couple was very reluctant about the idea. Because in this industry it is considered unacceptable to wear someone else’s clothes. But the nephew managed to convince them: “Age is not an obstacle to good style”.

Although the couple donated many clothes to charity, their entrepreneurial wardrobe remained enormous.

Well, in social networks, two elderly fashionistas collect many positive comments addressed to them, which their grandson reads to them.
