Despite their usually secretive relationship, Keanu Reeves and the artist were seen embracing and exchanging affectionate glances in front of the photographers’ flashes.
Four years ago, he publicly announced his relationship with Alexandra Grant during the prestigious LACMA Art + Film event.
In mid-April of this year, during a ceremony in California, he was seen with this 50-year-old visual artist, displaying his joy and love.
On the red carpet of the Museum of Modern Art, the 58-year-old Canadian repeated affectionate gestures and meaningful looks towards his partner, who has nearly 130,000 followers on Instagram for her artistic creations.
Perhaps for the first time since their relationship became public, the usually reserved couple shared a hug in front of the cameras.
On March 28th, the American magazine People asked Keanu about his “most recent moment of happiness.” The actor’s response was, “Recently, with my beloved. We were in bed. We were in sync. We were smiling, laughing, and having a great time. It was really nice to spend time together,” he described with tenderness.
Before embarking on a romantic relationship, they were friends who had collaborated on several art projects.
In 2011, they worked together for the first time on the book “Ode to Happiness,” written by the actor and illustrated by his friend. They later reunited for Keanu’s book “Shadows,” published in 2016.
Their mutual interest also led them to establish a publishing house in 2017.
