😔 Every day, in front of the same closed shop, I noticed a dog that I would feed: it would run away without eating it, so one day I decided to follow it, and what I discovered broke my heart.
In our neighborhood, there are many stray animals, but one particular dog caught my attention. It was a purebred dog, most likely abandoned by irresponsible people.
Every day on my way to work, I would see it in front of that closed shop. It would stand still, facing the window, watching people pass by. Seeing it like that, I wondered how anyone could abandon such an incredible dog.
One day, I started giving it food. To my surprise, it didn’t eat it. It just stayed there, motionless. But when I continued on my way and watched from a distance, I saw it take the food and run away without eating it.
So every day, it would take the food and disappear. One day, I decided to follow it. It led me to an old abandoned house.
What I discovered there completely broke my heart.

Inside the abandoned house, I found a very weak German Shepherd, locked inside.
Then I realized that the dog I was feeding wasn’t eating the food: it was bringing it to its friend to save him.
The German Shepherd was surviving only thanks to the loyalty of the other dog and its love.
I was deeply moved, unable to understand how people could have abandoned them like that.
Without hesitation, I decided to take them with me.
From that day on, they were no longer alone and never went hungry again.
