I had this old table for years and was planning to use it in the garden… 🌿 But after a good makeover, everything changed! ✨
It got a second life and a whole new style. The result was so successful that I finally decided to give it a spot in my living room 🛋️.
It fits in perfectly with the rest of the decor 😍. Check out the final result in the article in the first comment 👇👇👇.
Disassembling the table was easy.
There was just a small part of the plywood that had come loose.
I fixed it with a bit of wood glue.
While the glue was drying, I started the sanding process.
Removing the varnish didn’t take much effort.
For the tricky areas, I decided to use a little trick.
An old loyalty card or a curved metal tool worked perfectly to reach the difficult spots.
After sanding, I began applying the paint.
To finish, I used a varnish sealer that protects the paint well.
The first coat, applied with a brush, left visible strokes.
So I applied the second coat with a spray gun for a cleaner finish.
The result far exceeded my expectations, to the point that the table earned its place in my living room.
