Yesterday, while washing my husband’s clothes 👖, I discovered a nut in the pocket of one of his pants. I was a bit surprised 😯 because he’s usually very organized and makes sure nothing is out of place.
Until now, he’s never put food in his pockets. So, I waited for him to show him what I had found. At first, I thought maybe our son had slipped it in there, but when my husband saw the nut, he just smiled 😊.
He explained why he had left it in his pocket, and his explanation really amazed me 😲. Let me tell you the whole story in detail in the post in the first comment 👇👇👇.
The explanation my husband gave me was very simple.
He had adopted this habit from his grandfather.
He would keep a nut, sometimes two, in his pocket and would remove them before putting his pants in the washing machine.
This time, he had just forgotten to take them out.
He explained that it’s a method that helps with better thinking.
Chinese sages also used this method and would roll the nuts in their hands.
First of all, it’s an exercise for the hands.
After the age of 50, finger dexterity decreases, and the joints start to deteriorate.
Rolling a nut in your hand acts like a mini workout for the muscles.
It helps maintain joint flexibility and prevents stiffness in the fingers.
It also improves brain functions and acts as a stress reliever.
The more the fingers work, the more the brain processes information.
