Sebastian lived in one of the American states with many forests.
Due to his work, he had to leave his homeland for several years.
When he returned several years later, he was shocked by what he saw.
The forests where people used to spend their leisure time and go camping had been completely deforested.
People had done this for timber use.
This scene was truly alarming, so the couple was willing to do anything to restore the region.
First, they created a plan and identified all the necessary elements they would need to realize their dream.
According to the steps they had set, the couple would restore the forest in at least 20 years.
And so, by planting two million trees in 20 years, the couple achieved their goal.
Now, this area is full of animals and birds.
There are more than 300 tree species in the region.
The couple says they won’t stop and will expand the forest areas.
They help with the project, as do their relatives and a number of investors who also financially support the couple.
Such projects are encouraged.
