From the age of eight, Liam has taken on the responsibility of caring for his great-grandparents.
Julie and John, aged eighty-two and seventy-three respectively, are Liam’s joyful great-grandparents, who have been looking after him since 2012.
Having played the roles of father and mother for years, they found themselves needing to care for their great-grandson because no one else could. They did everything for this adorable child who brightened their daily lives.
As Julie and John grew older, they realized Liam needed more independence and that they needed to trust him as much as he had trusted them in his early years.
Even though they are still capable of handling daily tasks, the couple has allowed Liam to participate in household chores since the age of eight.
This is how the kind-hearted boy became a true pillar for his great-grandparents, who have been by his side since birth. Today, he lends them a hand and supports them in their domestic tasks.
Julie, particularly proud, testifies that Liam knows what needs to be done and does it without being asked. In addition to household chores, he loves making pasta, pancakes, and toast. Every day, he prepares toast for breakfast.
“He’s a very bright and skilled young lad,” she explains.
He is quite independent and doesn’t cause any trouble. He also performs well in school, is organized, and manages on his own without any assistance. Moreover, he is a diligent student who has earned a scholarship.
Despite his private life, Liam has always been an affectionate, attentive, and well-mannered child. He is always kind and caring, which makes Julie and John particularly proud.
After the loss of their three children, they are truly delighted to have Liam by their side.
In the mornings, they wake up with joy to see him once again.
