My daughter begged me not to let my new boyfriend move in with us: a week later, she disappeared, leaving a phone in her school locker, and what I discovered on that phone completely shocked me

😲 My daughter begged me not to let my new boyfriend move in with us: a week later, she disappeared, leaving a phone in her school locker, and what I discovered on that phone completely shocked me.

After my divorce, I thought I would never be able to trust a man again, until I met Daniel. He was very patient, polite, and very attentive to the smallest details: how I took my coffee, and when my car needed servicing.

However, my daughter didn’t like him from the beginning. I thought it was just loyalty to her father and fear of change. Every time Daniel was supposed to come over, she found excuses to leave the house.

When we decided that Daniel should move in with us, she strongly opposed it. One night, she even came into my bedroom to ask me not to let him move in.

When I told her she didn’t know him well and needed to give him a chance, she went back to her room without saying a word.

A week later, she didn’t come home from school. I thought it was her way of protesting, but she never came back at all. I contacted the police, and for a week my life was a complete disaster.

Then one day, two police officers came to my house with an old phone they had found in my daughter’s school locker.

The content of the phone completely shocked me.

It was my old phone, which I thought I had lost, and it contained a recorded video.

The video showed a scene in the garage late at night.

Ava appeared anxious in front of Daniel.

He spoke to her calmly and then opened the trunk of his car and showed her a box containing personal belongings.

Ava looked upset, she stepped back and then quickly went back into the house.

Nothing violent was shown, but the scene worried me.

After this discovery, I confronted Daniel.

He explained that the box contained his deceased daughter’s memories, and that Ava had misunderstood the situation.

I broke down realizing that my daughter may have run away out of fear rather than anger, and the police eventually found her at a friend’s house.

When I found her, she admitted she thought Daniel was hiding something dangerous from us, and we were finally able to talk all three of us to clear up the misunderstanding.
