One evening, while I was having dinner at my grandmother’s 🍽️, I opened her fridge 🧊 and was surprised to see something strange 😳: a roll of toilet paper 🧻. At first, I thought it was my little cousin 👧 who had put it there by mistake. But in reality, it was my grandmother 👵 who had placed it in the fridge. And it wasn’t until I discovered the reason behind this gesture 🤔 that I was even more amazed 👇👇👇.
Have you ever thought about putting a roll of paper in your fridge?
It seems a little strange, doesn’t it?
I learned this trick from my grandmother, and I’ll explain how it works.
You will need baking soda (two tablespoons), a little water, and a roll of paper.
First, mix the baking soda with water in a bowl to get a slightly liquid consistency.
Then, apply the mixture to the toilet paper roll and make sure it is well absorbed.
Next, turn the roll over and do the same process on the other side.
Finally, place the roll in a small bowl and put it in the fridge.
This trick helps neutralize unwanted odors and absorb excess moisture, especially if you have a frost-free fridge.
For better results, replace the paper roll regularly to keep your fridge fresh.
