😦 My six-year-old son whispered to me: “Mom, I’m scared, come back home” – What I saw when I returned left me speechless.
I am a single mother, and since I am often busy with work, I hired a nanny to take care of my six-year-old son. She was a very attentive woman, and she got along well with him.
She had been working with us for a year, and I had never had any concerns about her. I was even much more at ease knowing my son was with her.
One day, while I was at work, my son called me, whispering: “Mom, I’m scared, come back home.” His voice was trembling, as if he were trying to hide from someone. He could hardly speak, and I could sense he was frightened.
Worried and horrified, I rushed home. When I opened the door, what I saw left me speechless.

When I arrived, I found the nanny unconscious, lying on the floor.
My son had thought she was dead, and terrified, he had hidden in a closet.
He was in a state of panic, visibly in shock from the situation.
The nanny had lost consciousness due to a fall, caused by severe dehydration.
Apparently, she hadn’t informed anyone about her condition or sought help.
I immediately called emergency services.
Fortunately, they arrived quickly and took care of the nanny.
After being examined, she was able to recover, but it was clear she had gone through a difficult ordeal.
As for my son, he could never forget that moment, and it changed the way we approached care and attention at home.
