šÆ One day, when I went to my son’s house, I saw two police officers taking my son’s wife away. What I discovered that day deeply shook me.
Before, my biggest concern was taking care of the flowers in my garden. Today, I don’t even remember the last time I had a full night’s sleep.
My life changed the day my son married Clara. She seemed perfect. When he brought her home for the first time, I felt something strange, an unease I couldnāt explain.
Clara was beautiful, sociable, polite⦠but despite everything, something about her bothered me. After their wedding, my son became increasingly distant. He rarely called, and only visited during the holidays, sometimes even without Clara.
I felt something was wrong, but since he didnāt tell me anything, I didnāt know how to help him.
One day, I could no longer reach him. Worried, I decided to go to their house. When I arrived, I noticed a police car outside. I rushed inside, my heart pounding, to figure out what was going on.
Inside, two police officers were taking Clara away. When I found out what had happened, I was deeply shaken.
The rest of my story is in the article in the first comment ššš.
Clara, whose real name is Lydia Ward, had been involved in several marriages and suspicious disappearances.
She had poisoned my son with ricin, an undetectable toxin, which led to his death.
After a thorough investigation, Lydia was arrested and, after several months of legal proceedings, was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of my child.
Although my son is no longer here, his disappearance fueled my determination to fight criminals like Lydia.
Today, I collaborate with law enforcement on similar cases.
The loss of my son gave me a new mission: to protect the innocent and prevent monsters like her from making other victims.
