😯 One night, I saw my son bury something in our garden: when I discovered what he was hiding, I was left speechless.
Danny is my only son. After a difficult divorce, he came to live with me. At first, I thought it would only be temporary, but I did everything I could to support him.
One night, I woke up in the middle of the night, drawn by noises coming from the garden. I got up and approached the window. There, I saw my son, in pajamas, digging the earth. I noticed his hands were shaking, and he seemed furious.
I decided not to intervene, thinking he was going through an emotional crisis due to his divorce and was just trying to cope with this difficult time. He moved around the garden, then kept returning to the same spot to continue digging. Finally, he placed a bottle in the hole before carefully covering it up.
Then, he went back inside as if nothing had happened. The next day, he acted normally, and I decided not to say anything.
But the following night, the same scene repeated. This time, I noticed he took a bundle of papers from his pocket and put them in the bottle before burying it again.
I couldn’t go back to sleep. Thoughts were haunting me: what could he possibly be hiding in these bottles, and why was he burying them? These questions tormented me so much that I decided to stay home the next day to find out what he was hiding while he was at work.
What I discovered left me speechless.
The rest of the story is in the first comment below 👇👇👇.
I was digging in the garden, my heart pounding, when I found the bottle.
Upon opening it, I found documents carefully rolled up.
My eyes widened in shock as I read them: contracts, financial agreements… and my own signatures, but clearly forged.
Each document seemed more serious than the last.
Danny worked in my company, but I never imagined he could go this far.
Why would he do this? Was it for money? Ambition? Or was he just desperate to see me fail?
The next day, I confronted him.
He lowered his head, eyes filled with shame, and explained that he had acted out of fear of losing everything.
He had wanted to “fix” what he thought was an imminent disaster.
