The wedding day is always a very special occasion for the bride and groom, and usually, a photographer is invited for a photoshoot to capture the most beautiful moments of the ceremony.
The events in this story took place in Cambridge, Canada. Brittany and Clayton decided to get married and had a beautiful wedding ceremony.
During the party, something unexpected happened.
The groom disappeared during the photoshoot.
However, the professional photographer managed to capture not only the celebration but also a successful rescue operation because the groom had to interrupt the photosession to save a child who was drowning in a nearby canal.
The bridal couple posed for photos under a bridge in a city park when Clayton noticed a little boy drowning in the nearby canal.
Clayton wasted no time, ran to the canal, and jumped into the water to rescue the unknown child.
“When I saw Clayton in the water, I was in shock,” said the bride to local television.
“The little boy was already underwater, and fortunately, I was able to pull him out,” Clayton said.
The moment of the unexpected and extremely important rescue was captured by photographer Darren Hatt, and the man shared the photos on his Facebook page.
“His quick action saved the life of this boy who was fighting for his life. Well done, sir!” wrote Darren.
The photos went viral and were also shared by internet users. The newlyweds were very happy that a little boy was saved on their wedding day.
