My grandfather loves to transform or renovate old furniture.
So if I see a used piece somewhere, I take it for him.
Recently, I found an old armchair on the street and brought it home.
It was in very bad condition — the fabric was torn and worn out — but the frame seemed solid.
After looking at it for just a few seconds, my grandfather already had a renovation idea.
First, I helped him clean the armchair and remove the damaged fabric.
While I was getting some new fabric, he had already started painting the legs.
Then I helped him glue the fabric around the frame, fold it over, and tuck it in carefully.
The armchair got a brand-new life.
Every time my friends visit our house, they ask me where we bought it.
I smile and proudly reply that it’s my grandfather’s latest masterpiece.
