They waited for this child for many years. Touching moments of happiness and sincere emotions for parents who saw their daughter for the first time.
Hunter and Hope Madden, from Texas, went through a long journey before becoming parents to little Evelyn, a “rainbow” baby born after three frozen pregnancies.
The first two had to be terminated early, and the third at a later stage.
The last incident was particularly difficult for Hunter and Hope to overcome.
The pregnancy was going well, and the sex of the child was already known (they were expecting a boy, Owen), but another ultrasound revealed no heartbeat.
“It was a very tough moment for both of us,” says Hunter Madden. “It was like being punched in the gut…”
When Hope became pregnant again, they were still expecting a repeat of the tragedy.
According to Hunter, every visit to the doctor was accompanied by “fear and a slim hope.”
It was challenging for Hope to cope with the pain of losing three unborn children, but the couple tried to shake off the anxiety and focus on family and mutual love.
Hope says that she and Hunter wanted to become parents more than anything in the world.
After undergoing several infertility treatments and experiencing three frozen pregnancies, they were starting to lose hope of having a healthy child when suddenly the woman discovered she was pregnant again.
