This man was Evan.
He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors noted severe dehydration, multiple scars, and signs of long-term isolation.
At first, he refused to speak, as if he were still afraid of being heard.
Then, after several hours, he finally whispered a few words to investigators.
He explained that after falling into a ravine, he and Lily allegedly discovered an old shelter, isolated and almost invisible from the trail.
According to him, they were trapped there after a landslide, with no means of communication.
But very quickly, his account became confused: he mentioned “presences,” periods of memory loss, and movements he could not explain.
Regarding Lily, Evan repeatedly stopped speaking. He eventually said only that she “never came out of there.” Investigators tried to verify his claims, but no trace of the shelter was ever found.
The case was reopened, but the mystery remains unsolved.
