😦 A homeless boy transported a pregnant woman to the hospital with a simple shopping cart, without imagining what would happen a few days later.
One rainy day, a pregnant woman, soaked to the bone, was stranded in the middle of the street. She was feeling unwell and in pain.
Cars passed by without stopping, and passersby ignored her as well. They would pause for a moment, glance at her, and continue on their way, as if everything was normal.
The woman whispered, her face marked by suffering: “Help me.” At that moment, a homeless boy of about twelve years old couldn’t stay indifferent. He asked the woman to wait for a few minutes, then ran off and returned with a shopping cart.
He helped the woman into the cart and, in that way, transported her to the hospital. Once they arrived and made sure the woman was safely taken care of, he disappeared without waiting for any recognition.
He couldn’t have imagined what would happen a few days later.

A few days later, the woman, who had given birth to a beautiful and healthy baby, went with her husband to a café in the neighborhood.
As they were sitting at a table, a little boy passed by them.
It was the same boy who, a few days earlier, had transported her to the hospital.
She immediately recognized him.
She approached him and, moved, asked if he remembered her.
The boy, a little embarrassed, looked down and murmured: “You’re the one I helped with the cart.”
The couple, deeply touched by his heroic act and kindness, decided on the spot to offer him a home and help him change his life.
Eventually, they adopted him, giving him a chance to have a family and a better future.
