😦 At three in the morning, the police receive a strange call: a citizen reports that his neighbor is in the street, sitting on the sidewalk: what the officers discover when they arrive at her house leaves them speechless.
Shortly after the call, two police officers arrive at the scene. They notice the elderly woman, motionless and eerily calm.
One of the officers approaches her, kneels down to talk to her. That’s when she takes his hand, as if she had been waiting for him for a long time. She murmurs: “You’ve finally come.”
The officers exchange a confused look, not understanding what she meant.
Then she continues: “I refuse to live with him under the same roof. Please, make him leave.”
The officers head towards the house, thinking they’ll find her husband or someone else. But when they open the door, what they discover leaves them speechless.

He moves cautiously, his eyes scanning every corner of the dark room.
As he steps forward, he spots a small movement in a corner, just at the edge of the light.
He discovers a mouse slipping through the shadows.
The officer bursts into laughter as he finally understands.
“That was the reason!” he says, shaking his head.
“She left the house because of a mouse!”
The two officers look at each other, amused by the situation, before leaving, laughing.
