This little piece of furniture belonged to my grandmother, and I had kept it in our attic for a long time 🏚️.
Instead of getting rid of it, I decided to give it a second life ✨.
You can see the result in the article linked in the first comment 👇👇👇.
It’s not an antique, but after a little makeover, it will be perfect for my daughter’s room.
First, I removed the damaged varnish, then I sanded it completely, including the inside.
With a PVC pipe, I connected the sander to my vacuum cleaner to avoid the dust.
Then I cleaned it with my water sprayer.
Since my daughter loves white and pink, I decided to paint it in those colors.
To make the painting process easier, I removed the doors.
Next, I applied paint to the entire piece, including the legs and the inside.
In the end, I added simple handles to the doors.
My daughter really liked the final result.
She was happy to see this piece in her room.
She wasted no time and immediately started putting her things in it.
In no time, it became one of her favorite pieces of furniture.
When her friends came over, she proudly showed it to them.
It was a great satisfaction to see how happy she was with the result.
