This time, he was working on an old armchair, and I couldn’t miss it.
He had already bought all the necessary materials for the transformation and had started the work.
The first step was removing the original varnish, which he did with a solvent.
Then, using a grinder, he smoothed the surface.
To preserve the natural beauty of the wood, he applied oil mixed with hard wax.
As the finishing touch, he made custom cushion covers and put all the parts back together.
We decided to place the armchair in the corner under the stairs near the piano.
We created the perfect reading spot, both cosy, stylish, and full of charm.
