You will need ammonia, a few plastic bags, and some adhesive tape.
First, place the item in the airtight bag and add a little ammonia.
Then, remove as much air as possible, close the bag, and secure it with tape.
Leave it outside or on the balcony for about 1 or 2 days, as the ammonia smell is quite strong.
Take the item out of the bag and rinse it with cold water.
Finally, clean it using the rough side of the sponge.
There’s also another method.
You can take a large bowl and mix vinegar with cold water.
Leave the item in the bowl for 1 or 2 days, checking it from time to time.
In the end, remove the grime using a sponge.
