I found this little table in my grandparents’ garage đĄ, and as soon as I saw it, an idea for renovation came to mind đĄ. I knew it had potential â¨, even though I had no idea what challenges it would bring me đ ď¸.
The process took much longer than I expected âł, with a few unexpected issues along the way đ . But in the end, the result was exactly what I had envisioned, and it was definitely worth the effort đŞ.
Iâm sharing the final result in the article in the first comment đđđ.
At first, this little table wasnât very attractive, but it had hidden potential.
First, I removed the tiles, as they had a very “school” look.
The top was glued, so I had to remove each tile one by one.
Unfortunately, the process damaged the plywood.
I used a 5mm plywood scrap to reinforce the bottom.
I carefully cut it to fit the contours of the top.
I chose wood glue to make the adjustment easier.
For the top, I chose MDF, which is perfect for painting or gluing.
As for the edges, I painted them black and applied a light coat of paint on the rest.
For the finishing touch, I opted for satin white paint and a graphic wallpaper.
This project, which seemed simple at first, took much longer than expected, but the final result was exactly what I wanted.
